Global economic outlook 2022

On the morning of December 1, the organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD) released its latest global economic outlook report. The report predicts that the global economy will continue to recover in 2022.

According to the report, after the global economy rebounded by 5.6% in 2021, the global economy is expected to grow by 4.5% in 2022 and slow to 3.2% in 2023.

Due to the different economic situation of various countries, regional economic recovery will also be characterized by imbalance. The rebound in the economy has not yet completely restored the global economy from COVID-19's influence. The global GDP in mid 2021 is still 3.5% lower than the forecast before the epidemic. It is expected that the world will be able to better cope with COVID-19 in 2022, and global monetary and tax policies will also help the global economic recovery better.
