The construction of Lhasa Xigaze Expressway continued to advance

The left line of Dongcai Tunnel of Lhasa Shigaze Expressway in Tibet Autonomous Region completed its excavation and was successfully completed, marking new progress in the construction of this highway.
The left line of Dongcai Tunnel is 2962 meters long, located in Renbu County, Xigaze City. The construction line crosses two mountain ditches, with steep slopes, undulating terrain, and a maximum buried depth of 435 meters. Geological disasters are frequent and the construction is difficult. By the end of November, 65% of the total investment of the project had been completed.
Lhasa Xigaze Expressway will be commenced in June 2020 and will be completed and opened to traffic in 2024.
