The Zhejiang section of Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo (TSJY)speed railway will be constructed today, and the world's longest high-speed railway cross-sea bridge will be built

This morning, the opening ceremony of the Zhejiang section of the TSJY  high-speed railway was held. The commencement ceremony has set up the provincial main venue and the Ningbo and Jiaxing sub-venues. The TSJY high-speed railway project is the largest infrastructure project invested in Jiaxing at present, and is of great significance to the development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.

TSJY high-speed railway is located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province and the northeast of Zhejiang Province. The line starts from Nantong West Station in Nantong City, crosses the Yangtze River in the south, passes through Suzhou City and Jiaxing City, then crosses Hangzhou Bay and enters Ningbo City. According to the approval of the feasibility study, the operation length of the main line of the whole line is 310.025km, with a total investment of 108.09 billion yuan. The newly-built line in Zhejiang Province is 165912km long, with a total investment of 62.75 billion yuan. There are five stations in Zhejiang section, including Jiashan North, Jiaxing South, Haiyan, Cixi, and Zhuangqiao, among which Jiashan North, Jiaxing South, and Haiyan stations are located in Jiaxing City.

The key project of the project, Hangzhou Bay Sea-crossing Railway Bridge, with a total length of 29.158km, starts in Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, enters Hangzhou Bay after crossing the north bank levee, crosses the north channel with a main span of 450m cable-stayed bridge, bypasses the planned restricted area of Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, and then takes the main span of 2 × The 448m cable-stayed bridge crosses the middle channel and the Vietnam channel with the main span of 364m, and then lands at the Hangzhou Bay New Area in Ningbo. After the completion of the bridge, it will become the longest high-speed railway sea-crossing bridge with the highest construction standard in the world, which is of milestone significance to the construction of railway bridges in the world.
