Construction of the first tunnel of the Shaanxi section of the Kangyu high-speed railway starts

The construction of the Yujialiang Extra Long Tunnel in the Shaanxi section of the Kangyu high-speed railway has officially started, and the project construction has entered the fast lane.

The Shaanxi section of the Kangyu high-speed railway has a total length of about 80.27 kilometers, and the line starts from Ankang West Station and connects to the newly built Beibei South Station in Chongqing. The Yujialiang Extra Long Tunnel is located in Ankang City, with a total length of approximately 14.5 kilometers. It is the first long tunnel on the main line of the Kangyu high-speed railway, and is a key, difficult, and controlled project along the entire line.

The design speed of the Kangyu high-speed railway is 350 kilometers per hour. After the project is completed, the travel time from Ankang to Chongqing will be shortened from nearly 7 hours to 1.5 hours.
