The Tianfuling Tunnel

On June 13th, workers prepared for blasting construction in the Tianfuling Tunnel of the Sanglong Expressway in Hunan.
The Tianfuling Tunnel, a key project of Hunan Sang (Zhi) Long (Shan) Expressway, has a double track connection, with a total length of 2330 meters and a maximum burial depth of 440 meters. It is understood that Sang Long Expressway starts from Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province and ends at Longshan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, with a total length of about 61 kilometers and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. After the completion of the project, it will facilitate the travel of people along the line, further open up tourism channels between the western Hunan region and other areas, and promote the development of the western region of Wuling Mountain.
